New to Pilates or new to Luxe — here's what you most need to know before your first class.

Book Your First Class
  • Pilates is a holistic movement method created to promote alignment of the mind and body. Grounded in technique, controlled movement sequences, and regulated breath, Pilates encourages ergonomic postural alignment, core strength, and balanced musculature. Since its creation, Pilates has continued to gain respect from health professionals as a reputable method for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and sustainable exercise. The benefits of practicing Pilates regularly include improved core strength and stability, postural alignment, flexibility, balance, and endurance.

  • The Pilates Reformer is the most popular and versatile piece of Pilates equipment around the world. Invented by Joseph Pilates, the Reformer is designed to utilize spring-resistance technology to intelligently strengthen and improve muscular function. Exercises on the Reformer incorporate functional movement and involve pulling, pressing, or holding a moving carriage steady while you resist tension from anchored springs. With the unique ability to adjust spring tensions for each exercise and ability level, it’s possible to progress and tailor exercises to every body for every exercise - whether it be to provide more support to the absolute beginner, or more challenge to the most experienced Pilates lovers

  • None whatsoever. Luxe Pilates is for all levels, all ages, and all bodies. Our instructors modify every exercise so you're always working at the right level for you — whether it's your first class or your hundredth.

  • Yes — Pilates is widely recommended by physical therapists for injury rehab and pain management. Just let us know before class and your instructor will modify accordingly. For significant injuries, we suggest starting with a private session so we can give you our full attention from day one.

  • 8 people, maximum. Small by design — so your instructor can actually watch your form, give real corrections, and know your name. You get the energy of a group class with the attention of a private session.

  • New clients get 2 weeks of unlimited classes for $145 — the easiest way to try different class times, get comfortable on the reformer, and find your rhythm before committing to a membership. Just book online and we'll take care of the rest.
